UPS — BillShipper AccountNumber Must Match Shipper Number

Fix for the UPS BillShipper error: account number doesn't match the configured UPS shipper number. Try regenerating the label once — if it persists, contact Support as this requires carrier config review.

What this means

UPS rejected the shipment because the billing account number does not match the UPS shipper account configured for the shipment.

This is a UPS carrier configuration issue.


How to fix

  1. Open the RMA.

  2. Confirm the shipment is using UPS.

  3. Regenerate the label once.

  4. If the error continues, contact Swap Support.

Include:

  • RMA ID

  • carrier name

  • screenshot of the error

This issue usually requires internal carrier configuration review by Support or Tech.
