To guarantee a total landed cost on international orders, Swap needs to ensure accurate values are being used in shipment requests to carriers. The integration method you choose determines how that happens.
This article is a signpost: it outlines your options, the effort involved, and links to the relevant technical documentation.

Recommended integration options
Integration method | Effort | Best when | Documentation |
Integrate with the Swap Shipping API | 🟡 Medium | Your WMS or label printer doesn't have a plug-and-play integration with Swap yet. | |
Use plug-and-play Swap integration | 🟢 Low | Your WMS or label printer already has a plug-and-play integration with Swap. |
Fallback options
If you can't use a plug-and-play integration or build your own integration to the Swap Shipping API, you may be able to use Webhooks or the Swap Values API, but these come with limitations and should be considered fallback solutions.
Getting set up
Once you've identified the right option, your Swap implementation manager will guide you through onboarding. For technical questions or to scope a custom integration, contact your account team.
