Understanding the Global analytics dashboard

This article explains the sections of the Global analytics dashboard in Swap, including overview metrics, top sales by market, top products, sales insights, checkout conversion rate, and checkout charges.

Filtering options

Use the filters at the top of the dashboard to view data for a specific date range or country. Each section updates based on your selected filters.


Overview metrics

The three cards at the top of the dashboard give a quick snapshot of performance, each with a percentage change compared to the previous period:

  • Sales — the total monetary value of all Swap Global orders

  • Orders — the total number of orders placed

  • AOV (Average Order Value) — the average amount spent per order, shown as a trend over time


Top sales by market

A bar chart showing your highest-performing markets by total sales value and number of orders. Use this to identify which markets are driving the most revenue.


Top products

A ranked list of your best-selling products by order volume across the selected period.


Sales insights

A tabbed breakdown of sales activity by country and time period. Switch between three views:

  • Sales — total sales value per country by month

  • Orders — number of orders per country by month

  • AOV — average order value per country by month


Products

A detailed table showing which products were ordered, by which country, and in which period. Columns include Orders and Items for each time period, giving you a view of both order frequency and item volume per SKU.


Checkout conversion rate

Shows how many carts converted to completed orders across your active markets. Switch between three tabs:

  • Orders — number of completed orders per country by month

  • Carts — number of carts initiated per country by month

  • CVR — checkout conversion rate (orders ÷ carts), shown as a percentage


Checkout charges

A market-level breakdown of the financial components of each order. Columns include:

The tax strategy applied to that market (e.g. Checkout, TLC-Inclusive)

Number of orders in the period

Total

Total amount charged to the customer

AOV

Average order value

Subtotal

Product value before tax and duties

Tax & duties

Combined tax and import duties collected

Shipping

Shipping charges collected

Platform variance

Any difference between the Swap-calculated amount and the platform-recorded amount
