How to Create a Pricing Zone

This article walks you through creating a new pricing zone in the Swap Dashboard, from navigation to saving your settings.

⚠️ Pricing zones require the Advanced or Plus Shopify plan.


Creating a pricing zone

Navigate and start

  1. Go to Global > Pricing Zones in the left-hand menu.

  2. Click Add Pricing Zone.

Name and add countries

  1. Enter a unique name for your pricing zone.

  2. Click the Countries dropdown to expand the country list.

  3. Use the search bar to find a specific country, or expand a region to browse.

  4. Select the checkbox next to each country you want to include.

  5. Close the dropdown when done.

Configure pricing

Choose whether you want to use Dynamic Pricing or Fixed Pricing for your pricing model. For a full explanation of each option, see Understanding pricing zones.

If using dynamic pricing:

  1. Optionally enable the Pricing Coefficient toggle.

  2. If enabled, choose Increase or Decrease and enter a percentage value.

If using fixed pricing:

  1. Upload a CSV file with your fixed prices per product variant — drag and drop the file or click to browse.

  2. To get a starting point, download the product variants CSV from the same screen.

Select a tax strategy

  1. Choose a tax strategy. For a full explanation of each option, see Understanding tax strategies.

  2. Indicate whether your prices already include taxes and duties using the My prices already include the selected tax strategy checkbox.

Save

  1. Click Save.

  2. Click Confirm on the confirmation modal to push the changes to Shopify.
