How to generate labels with Orders Hub

How to print a shipping label for a Shopify order using Orders Hub.

Written by Jemma O'Leary

This article shows you how to print shipping labels for your Shopify orders using Swap Label Printer (Orders Hub).

Before you start

Orders Hub is connected to your Shopify store, so your orders sync automatically every 15-20 minutes — you don't need to create or import anything manually.

Printing a label (single shipment)

  1. Log in to Orders Hub, then go to Orders in the left-hand navigation.

2. Find the order you want to ship. Each order has three buttons: View order, Print, and Dispatch order.

💡 Clicking print brings up the invoice — it won't generate a shipping label.

3. To generate a shipping label, click Dispatch order. This opens the order's shipping details.

4. Select the shipping service for this order — for example, FedEx International Connect Plus. This can also be set automatically, depending on your setup.

5. Click Create single ship to generate the label.

6. Click Print label to open the label, which you can download as a PDF.

Troubleshooting

If there is missing product data, you can edit the information using the button to the right hand side of the product.

If an error message appears, it should be descriptive (e.g. COUNTRYOFMANUFACTURE.TOO.LONG or CURRENCY.TYPE.INVALID) and give you some idea of what you need to update in the order details.

What happens next

Once you've dispatched the order and printed the label, Shopify updates automatically — the order is marked as fulfilled, and the tracking number is added.
