What this means

DHL rejected the shipment because one or more products are missing customs information.

This is usually caused by:

  • missing Country of Origin (COO)

  • missing HS code

  • incomplete customs data


How to fix

  1. Open the RMA and review all returned products.

  2. Check whether each product has:

    • Country of Origin (COO)

    • HS code

  3. Ask the merchant to update any missing information in Shopify.

  4. Once updated, reprocess the return.

If the products already contain valid customs information and the error still appears, escalate to Support with:

  • RMA ID

  • affected products

  • screenshot of the error
