Voila is a shipping integration platform owned by Dispatch Cloud. It sits between merchant order systems and carriers (e.g. FedEx) to enrich shipment data before a label is generated.
Why shipments go through Voila instead of directly to a carrier:
Adjusts product prices for duty and tax-inclusive (DDP) pricing, preventing merchants from being overcharged by carriers
Enables B2B transfer of customs (B2B2C) shipments
Controls commercial invoice content and customs descriptions for compliance
Protects merchant profit margins
Merchants interact with Voila through tools like the Orders Hub or their WMS (e.g. Mintsoft, PeopleVox). They do not connect directly to Voila themselves.
