Service Presets — What They Are and Who Can Change Them

Covers what service presets are in Voila, why only specific people can modify them, how support staff can view preset information for a brand, and the naming conventions used for common services.

A service preset is a set of customisations applied to a shipping service. Presets control how a shipment is processed, including pricing rules, customs handling, and carrier behaviour.

Who can modify presets: Swap support only. Presets are shared across all merchants using that service — a change to one preset affects everyone on it.

If a merchant needs a new preset or a service modification: Contact Swap. Do not attempt to create or edit presets independently.

Common service names for UK merchants:

- International Connect Plus DDP

- International Priority DDP

Naming conventions:

- DDP = Delivered Duty Paid

- 3PB = Third Party Billing

You can view a brand's carrier options and presets to supply during troubleshooting:

- Orders Hub users → Courier Integrations settings

- Other WMS users → Reseller API Accounts > brand > Presets
