Overview

If a return label fails to generate, you can find the exact error message in the return request’s Order History.

Go to:
Returns Dashboard → Return Request (RMA) → Order History → “Label generation failed”

Step 1: Go to the Returns Dashboard

Navigate to your Returns Dashboard and select Return Requests.

Step 2: Find the Failed Order

Locate the order for which the label failed to generate and click on it to open the order detail view.

Step 3: Check the Order History for the Error

Scroll down to the Order History section. Look for a System Note that reads:

"Label generation failed"

This note will include the full label error message. You can copy this message and share it directly with the support team for investigation.

Step 4: No Error Visible? Regenerate the Label

If the label failed but no error message appears in Order History:

  1. Click the Regenerate Label button.

  2. Allow the system to attempt label generation again.

  3. If it fails again, a new error message will appear under Order History for you to copy and share.

When to Contact Support

Share the copied error message with the support team if:

  • The error message is present but you are unsure how to resolve it.

  • Regenerating the label fails a second time.
