This article explains how to add the Checkout+ widget to your Shopify checkout page, so customers can opt in to protection and free returns as they check out.

Before you start
Swap's onboarding team creates the Checkout+ product in your Shopify catalogue when Checkout+ is enabled for your store. The widget depends on that product, so add the block only once your onboarding contact has confirmed it is in place.

Adding the widget
In your Shopify dashboard, click Settings.
Click Checkout.
Click Edit to open the checkout editor.
Click Add block, then select Swap Checkout Plus Extension.
Drag the block to the position where you want the widget to appear at checkout.
Click Save.
The widget then appears at checkout as an optional add-on. Customers who select it have their order protected and their returns covered.
If you cannot see Add block
The checkout editor offers Add block on Shopify Plus only. If the button is not there, your store is not on a plan that supports checkout customisation â speak to your Swap onboarding contact or account manager.
