Reference guide: Agentic Storefront integrations

What your storefront agent connects to — commerce platforms, payments, email and SMS, loyalty, promotions and helpdesks — and the status of each.

Written by Jemma O'Leary

Your storefront agent doesn't work in isolation. It connects to the tools you already run — your commerce platform, your email and SMS marketing, your loyalty programme, your payment provider — so the agent works with your existing stack rather than replacing it.

How to read the status column

Available — live and in use by merchants today.

Available with setup work — supported, but your platform needs configuration or development first.

In build — actively being developed.

Planned — committed to the roadmap, not yet scheduled.

On request — possible, but scoped individually. Talk to us.

Under consideration — not currently on the roadmap. Tell us if you need it.

Commerce platforms

Your commerce platform is where your products, inventory and orders live. The agent reads your catalogue from it and writes completed orders back to it.

Platform

Status

What you should know

Shopify

Available

Our most established connector. Fastest route to launch. See Understanding the Shopify Agentic Storefront integration

Centra

Available with setup work

Full catalogue, orders and content-management support.

Shopify Hydrogen

Available with setup work

Supported, but treated as a custom catalogue. Tell us early — it affects your timeline.

Salesforce Commerce Cloud

Available with setup work

We build the connection on our side. Scoped case by case.

Custom / headless storefronts

Available with setup work

Always bespoke. We map your catalogue to the agent individually.

Payments

Connector

Status

What you should know

Adyen

Available

Our default payment provider. Handles card payments, chargebacks and fraud tooling on the agentic checkout.

Shopify Payments

In build

For merchants who want payments consolidated under their existing Shopify accounting. Frequently requested.

Stripe

Planned

More payment providers to follow.

Your own checkout

On request

Possible for larger implementations where your checkout carries dependencies we shouldn't disrupt. Needs a commercial conversation.

Email, SMS and customer marketing

Connector

Status

What you should know

Klaviyo

Available

Our deepest marketing integration. Shopper activity from the agent flows into your own Klaviyo account and matches to each profile once an email is captured. It goes well beyond browse and cart activity — the agent passes through intent signals that don't exist on a traditional site.

Klaviyo SMS

Planned

The next phase of the Klaviyo work.

Attentive

In build

Built with one merchant. Not yet available more widely.

Bloomreach

Planned

Early scoping.

Loyalty and membership

Loyalty is built as a shared layer rather than a series of one-off integrations, so the agent can recognise a shopper's tier and available rewards regardless of which provider you use. Adding a new provider doesn't mean rebuilding the capability.

Provider

Status

What you should know

LoyaltyLion

In build

Next in sequence on the shared loyalty layer.

Yotpo

Planned

Adapter built, not yet live with merchants.

Antavo

Planned

Prioritised for build.

Talon One

Planned

Prioritised for build.

Smile.io

Under consideration

Not on the near-term roadmap. If you're on Smile.io, talk to us — implementation is currently handled by your agency rather than natively.

Promotions and discounts

Capability

Status

What you should know

Shopify discount code sync

Available

Codes configured in Shopify are recognised, so you manage promotions in one place.

AI and customer experience tools

Connector

Status

What you should know

Virtual try-on

Available

Live try-on within the storefront. Currently strongest on upper-body garments. See Understanding Virtual Try-On

Knowledge base answers

Available

The agent answers policy and service questions from your own content, organised into knowledge packs.

Handover to your support team

Available

The agent escalates to a human when it can't help, passing the conversation context with it.

Order tracking

Available

A shopper can ask where their order is and get an accurate answer, retrieved live rather than estimated.

Gorgias and other helpdesks

On request

Let us know if you'd like to integrate Swap's CS agent with your own helpdesk tool.

Order management and fulfilment

When a shopper checks out through the agent, the completed order is written back into your commerce platform, so it flows through your existing fulfilment process like any other order. Nothing about your warehouse or 3PL setup needs to change.
