In some cases—such as providing a link to book a virtual fitting session or directing users to regional return portals—it’s helpful to add clickable links in the top banner of the canvas. This guide explains how to add these links properly.

Formatting Guidelines

To add a hyperlink in the banner, use the following format:

Hyperlink syntax: [display text] (link)*

Example

[HERE](www.swap-commerce.com)*

This will display the word HERE as a hyperlink that opens www.swap-commerce.com in a new browser tab. The asterisk (*) denotes that the link text should appear in bold.

Additional Notes

  • Text outside of the hyperlink syntax ( format) will appear as regular text.

  • Multiple links can be added in the same banner.

  • All links will open in a new tab when clicked.

Example with Additional Text

CLICK [HERE](www.swap-commerce.com)* FOR EU RETURNS OR [HERE](www.swap-commerce.com/au-nz)* FOR AUZ/NZ RETURNS

This will render as follows:

Use Case

This feature allows you to guide customers during their journey—for example, by including a link to book a virtual fitting session during a product exchange process.
