How to Add the Swap Global Checkout Extension

⚠️ This feature is only available to stores on the Shopify Plus plan.

The Swap Global app comes with a Checkout UI extension that allows you to display a full line-by-line tax breakdown to your customers at checkout.

To add the checkout extension to your store’s checkout page, go to Settings --> Checkout and click the Customize button under the Customize your checkout section.

The Customize button will navigate you to a checkout customization screen. (image below)

The image above is a 1-page checkout flow. If you have a 3-page flow enabled (separate pages for the information, delivery, and payment steps), you can click the dropdown at the top of the screen (where Checkout v is in the image above) and navigate to the Shipping page.

Click the Add App Block button on the bottom-left of the screen. The left-side panel should now show all extensions supplied by installed apps.

Within the list, there should be the Swap Global Checkout Extension.

Click on the extension to enable it in the checkout UI, and then click save in the top-right corner of the screen.
