Swap is the ultimate partner for agencies and consultants looking to help their e-commerce clients scale globally while simplifying complex international and domestic operations.

Swap strategically partners with select e-commerce agencies and consultancies to create exceptional experiences for mutual clients. We take a focused approach to partnerships, investing in partnerships that align with Swap’s values to ensure meaningful growth together.

By focusing on joint value and commercial alignment, we can invest significantly more resources into the partners we onboard and maintain relationships with. Our partners are experts in expanding operations seamlessly, and we consider them an extension of our team when representing Swap to their clients and the broader ecosystem.


Partner Tiers & Benefits

Our program offers joint marketing opportunities, training and enablement, access to Swap leadership, and a meaningful role in our product roadmap.

The program operates on a multi-tier model, with three tiers including Flock, Runway, and Flagship (reviewed annually). Each tier has unique requirements and benefits designed to reward partners based on success and commitment to Swap’s growth. See Appendix A for the full breakdown of benefits per tier.


Partner Tier Eligibility

Partner Tiers are assessed based on performance within the current fiscal year, with updates biannually on June 30 and December 31. Partners will be notified of any tier adjustments following each review.

Swap reserves the right to apply discretion when determining tier eligibility.


Partner Application Requirements

To become a Swap Partner, we start by learning more about your business. Please fill out our application form with basic details. Once submitted, a Swap team member will reach out and schedule a call to discuss the next steps.

During this conversation, we will explore:

  • Your business focuses and client profile

  • Commercial model and approach to partnerships

  • Co-marketing and collaboration opportunities

  • Swap’s partner benefits and expectations

Once approved, you will receive a Swap Partner Agreement outlining key program terms, including:

  • Definitions of lead submission process and qualification criteria

  • Overview of referral incentives and payment structure

  • Confidentiality and data protection guidelines

  • Brand usage and co-marketing guidelines

Joining the program grants access to exclusive partner resources and the opportunity to grow alongside Swap.


Lead Submission Process

Referral Submission Process

To qualify for a referral commission, leads must be submitted via the Swap Partner Portal. Swap will review submissions and confirm eligibility via email. Approved leads require collaboration with your Partner Manager to provide background details and facilitate an introduction.

To qualify for revenue share, referrals must be submitted before Swap’s sales team has an open opportunity with the lead.

Swap’s products (Global, Returns, Track, Protect, and Inventory) are all eligible for referral commissions, whether sold individually or together. Each new product sold qualifies for commission under the Partner Program Agreement.

Note: Leads remain valid for 60 days from the registration date. Exceptions may apply based on client timelines and other key milestones discussed with your Swap Partner Manager.

Payment On Referrals

Partners earn referral fees based on their Partner Tier and Net Revenue from Referred Customers, as outlined in the Partner Program Agreement. Partners are responsible for any applicable taxes on earned referral fees.

  • Referral fees are paid within 45 days after the end of each calendar quarter, provided Swap has received payment from the referred customer and a signed invoice from the partner.

  • Payments are issued in USD or GBP.


Marketing

Swap Partner Badges & Social Posting

Per the Partner Program Agreement, Swap Partners receive a Swap Partner package, including an official partner badge, social assets, and the Swap logo. These materials are accessible via the Partner Portal, and we encourage partners to feature them across marketing channels and websites to highlight their partnership with Swap.

Swap Brand Community "The Nest", Campaigns & Events

Runway and Flagship Tier Partners receive priority participation in Swap’s brand community (The Nest) and other key campaigns and events. Partners may be invited as co-organisers, co-sponsors, or featured attendees.

Co-Marketing Initiatives

Swap offers proactive collaboration with Runway and Flagship Partners on marketing efforts, including:

  • Co-creating content for demand generation

  • Hosting joint events and webinars

  • Developing client case studies

Marketing Development Funds (MDF)

Available to Runway & Flagship Partners:

  • Increase your brand awareness through Swap’s brand activations & campaigns

  • Drive joint demand generation through integrated marketing activities

  • Collaborate with Swap in a way that suits your agency’s unique strengths


Early Product Access & Priority Support

Priority Support

To receive timely support for partners working with shared clients, please email [email protected].

To ensure efficient resolution:

  • Include all relevant customer details

  • Be as specific as possible

  • Ensure customer stakeholders are informed

Communication Channels

  • Slack Access: Dedicated Slack channels are only provided to Runway and Flagship Partners.

    • Note: Inactive channels may be closed based on engagement and tier changes.

  • Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs): We aim to conduct quarterly reviews to optimize partner success, address challenges, and strengthen collaboration.

Product Roadmap & Beta Access

  • All Partners will periodically be offered early access to Swap product roadmap releases, enablement collateral, and early release notes.

  • Flagship Tier Partners receive exclusive invitations to Product Beta Testing.


Partner Management & Other Resources

Runway & Flagship Partners

Runway and Flagship Partners receive access to the Swap Partner Portal, dedicated Slack communication, as well as an assigned Swap Partner Manager as their primary point of contact for all partnership activities. Partner Managers support training, sales, and co-marketing initiatives to ensure success.

Flock Tier Partners

In addition to access to the Swap Partner Portal, Flock Partners have access to partner resources via [email protected] and the Swap Partner Portal, with prioritised access to sales support and product enablement materials.
