Protected Orders Screen

The Protected Orders Screen is part of Swap Protect. It allows you to view and manage orders that have package protection enabled.


Key Functionalities

  • View protected orders: Merchants can track which orders are covered under the protection plan.

  • Search orders: Quickly find an order using the search bar.

  • File claims: Initiate a claim request directly from the dashboard.

  • Review coverage details: See the coverage amount, fees, and protection mode for each order.


Accessing the Protected Orders Screen

  1. Log in to your Swap Dashboard.

  2. Navigate to the Protect section in the sidebar.

  3. Click Protected Orders to view all orders with package protection.


Overview of the Protected Orders Screen

The Protected Orders Screen displays a table containing all insured orders. Each row represents a protected order and shows details such as order number, customer details, and order details.

Columns in the Protected Orders Table

Column Name

Description

Order Name

The unique identifier for the order.

Customer Name

The name of the customer who placed the order.

Customer Email

The customer’s email address.

Order Subtotal

The total amount of the order.

Amount Covered

The amount covered under package protection.

Carrier

The shipping provider associated with the order.

Claim Filed

Indicates whether a protection claim has been filed for the order.

Search Options

You can use the search bar to locate specific orders by their order number. Please note that you must include “#” in the order number.

Action Buttons

New Claim: You can file a claim for a protected order by clicking the green “+ New Claim” button.

Order Details View

Clicking an order in the table opens the Order Details View, providing in-depth information about the selected order.

Fields in the Order Details View

Field Name

Description

Order Name

The order’s unique identifier.

Shopify Order ID

The corresponding Shopify order ID.

Order Date

The date when the order was placed.

Customer Name

The name of the customer.

Customer Email

The email associated with the order.

Carrier

The shipping carrier used for delivery.

Order Subtotal

The total value of the order.

Amount Covered

The amount insured for this order.

Protection Mode

The protection type, e.g., Merchant or Customer mode protection

Merchant Payment

The fee the merchant pays for package protection.

Merchant Fee Percentage

The percentage of the order subtotal charged to the merchant for coverage.
